I’ve had more fun making wish lists for my boys this year! And, I thought I’d share some of the top items!!!…
Here are some of the things on Nash’s list…{Quinn is going to help him tell Santa what he wants!!!}…
1. This Fisher Price Learning House is something that I’ve always heard great things about! So, we’re hoping that Santa will bring it to Nash this year. And, we’re hoping that it will bring the hours of fun that we expect it will…

5. This lovey {named “Ruff Ruff” by Quinn} is Nash’s favorite thing! Mammer and Slickpaw got it on a trip and he immediately took to it and cuddled with it in the most precious way. So, I’m asking that he get another one. Because, heaven forbid we loose it.
6. This VTech Record and Learn Photo Album is just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Mammer saw it and I’m pretty sure she’ll make sure Nash gets it!!!…:)
And here are some of Quinn’s top wishes…
1. Since Q is obsessed with Transformers all of a sudden, he is going to go NUTS over these super hero transformers! So cool!!!…
2. With the new family service that we have at our church, we are really wanting to teach Quinn about giving. And, I think this bank is the PERFECT little tool. How cute, right!?…
3. I love Trio blocks. They’re not as tiny as legos and they make some really cool sets. So, this Trio Bat Cave is a FOR SURE on the list!!! (along with lots of the other characters)…
4. Remember Alphie! He’s back…and so cute! I think Quinn will really like this…
5. I’ve been wanting Quinn to have the Goodbyn for a while now! So, I ordered one! It’ll make lunch even more fun…
6. This Imaginext Bat Cave (and Joker’s Fun House) are the things that Quinn wants Santa to bring him! I sure hope he can find them because they’re REALLY cool! …
7. And, last but not least…the gift I’m most excited about!!! We’re going to get Q this trunk from IKEA…
And fill it with TONS of costumes that we got on Halloween clearance. We have Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, Hulk, Super Man and more! I think it’s going to be a HIT!!! … ![]()
I’m excited! I love shopping, wrapping and then giving things to the people that I love. Just wait until you see some of the things that are going to be under the tree for the other people in my life! (and the things that I’m asking for!!!) …
And, tell me what you’re giving/wanting!?
I’d love to hear your ideas!!!
Pictures taken on time…Letter written a few weeks late! {But we’re pretending that it was on time, k!?}…
Dear Sweet Nasher,
My soul! How did we ever live our lives without you? It is amazing how much joy and laughter you have brought to our family with your already darling personality. Surely you’re not just four months old. But, even though we feel like we’ve loved you for years, the calendar tells us differently. It’s hard to believe that you came into our little PoeFam just four short months ago.
And, in your fourth month, you have become such a character. Chubbier than ever and full of life. You laugh hysterically now and are loving to ‘talk’ to us. We have you stereotyped already and feel that you’ll grow into such a friendly, funny lineman. We’ll see, in time, if we’re right. I always tell you that you’re going to be my bodyguard! :)
This month you went on your very first trip. We went to Abilene to visit Mammer and Slickpaw. You were such a good traveler and a good sleeper while we were there. Mammer was so proud to show you off around her school…and everyone oohed and ahhed over you.
You stayed busy this month with all of your big brother’s activities. In spite of the fact that you usually HATE your car seat and SCREAM until you can get out, you gladly tag along to Quinn’s soccer games, taking him to school and to his school pumpkin patch. You also get to go to his playgroup and see him with all of those other big boy friends. You’ll be running with them in no time.
One of the sweetest things this month was hosting your very first playgroup. You were such a happy host and I loved seeing you with some of the friends you’ll grow up playing with. What a precious and rare opportunity!
On top of that fun memory, we got to take you to the Pumpkin Patch for the first time and celebrate your first Halloween. Seeing you as Robin (your brother’s insistent choice) while Quinn was Batman absolutely melted my heart. We all loved showing you off in your hilarious costume and you were such a trooper as we trick-or-treated for a long time.
In your fourth month, you went to the church nursery for the very first time and you did GREAT! You even took a nap in the baby bed in there!! (your brother would have NEVER done that!!!) People love you and you love people! You definitely are not stingy with your smiles and make everyone feel so good by giving them the biggest grins. We love how happy you make others…even strangers!
We are so thankful that you’re continuing to be such a good sleeper. You are still in our room, but you either wake up once to eat or sleep through the night. Typically you are ready for bed in the 8 o’clock hour…and are up around 6 or 7. The horrible sleepless nights just didn’t last that long with you!
When it comes to eating, you are still eating about every 3 to 3 1/2 hours. But, you’re such an efficient eater. I guess I should expect nothing less! …I mean, just look at ya!
You are generally such a happy little guy…JOLLY, actually! We feel that that word describes you perfectly. You are finally loving to play and give Mommy lots of time to get stuff done when you’re in your bouncy, on your play mat or in your jumperoo. You often squeal with happiness and we love to watch your eyes light up when you look at us. They truly sparkle.
You absolutely LOVE bath time. You kick and smile and would stay in there for hours. You love watching your brother play with his toys next to you and kick SOOOO big in excitement while splashing water all over your face…and it doesn’t bother you one bit. It cracks us up to watch your chubby thighs and feet kick with such happiness.
But, the icing on this month's cake was your baby dedication. It was so special to have all of your grandparents here to celebrate the fact that we promised to raise you in a home that loves Jesus. I already look at you and know that you are going to do great things for His kingdom…and I pray that you never doubt how much God loves you!
You are such a dream come true, Mr. Man, and we all three love you more than words could ever express. We can’t wait to see what the next month holds.
XOXO,
Your Mommy

Praise Jesus! The “super fast and super strong” Wolverines finished their season on Saturday the 20th. We made it!!! And, despite the fact that water breaks and shadow chasing were WAY more entertaining this season than the actual game, Quinn never wanted to quit…and, I’m proud of him for that!
So, we proudly placed our trophy with the others we’ve already collected in his short 3 1/2 years, and plan on taking a little break from the game. We hope to go back to Soccer Tots for a season and then try it again! …Our goal for next season is to actually KICK the ball!!! Reachin’ for the moon!!!
Quinn and Hendrix had a little conversation mid game. Mercy!…![]()
On Monday, November 15th, we had the sweet pleasure of getting to join Quinn at school for his Thanksgiving Finger Food Feast. It was the first program that Quinn had ever been in and I was SUPER excited to be able to watch my baby up on stage.
When we got there, our place was adorned with all of his darling projects, and soon after, he and all of his friends marched in as Pilgrims. We laughed hysterically at how his hat pushed down his ears and how cute he was when he found us and waved.
As they sang their “thankful” songs, {my favorite, Thank You Lord for Making Me!} my heart melted. It was hard to believe that my baby was big enough to be up there on that big stage. Sadly, a crazy kid that stood right behind him distracted him the majority of the time…but, it was still priceless!
After the program, we got to sit with our little man and have our Finger Food Feast!
It was such a sweet reminder that I am so blessed. I am so thankful to be a Mommy and to witness precious moments like these. ![]()
