Praying God’s WOrd: March
Praying God’s Word: Week 9
Week 8 Snippet: {February 21-27}
Topic: Our Marriage
Scriptures:
Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Ephesians 5:21
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
What God taught me:
That this isn’t easy. All week, there seemed to be things that made submitting difficult. But, thankfully, when I’d get like I sometimes get, God would bring these amazing verses to my heart. He was constantly reminding me at how I glorify not only my husband, but HIM, when I submit…and I also glorify Him when I’m protecting, trusting, keeping no record of wrongs, not easily getting angry, not being rude, and thinking about him over myself.
Up next: Week 9: {February 28-March 6}
Topic: My boys’ friends
Scripture:
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24

Kinda like Laundry: Never-ending & Impossible to sort!
On the day after my birthday {February 12th}, we had Nash’s 7 month photo shoot scheduled with Sara from SDS Photography. Even though I had originally planned to do them at 6 months, I wanted to wait until he was sitting up really well. …To say that I was SUPER excited for the cuteness that was to come is SUCH an understatement. Sara and I had searched for the perfect laundromat to fulfill my crazy idea…and, when we found it, I was EXSTATIC. The morning of the shoot, Slickpaw had to “work his magic” to get them to allow us to take pics there…but, it worked!!! And, my sweet dream was a reality.
So, sit back…relax…and enjoy my favorites out of the 200+ amazing pics that Sara took. It was impossible to choose just a few. And, with these two subjects…how could I hold back!!!…

I truly could not have been happier with the pics. I love the unique locations, the colors, and, of course, the boys! I even got to jump in a few with my littlest Valentines. What darling memories these pictures hold. Now, which ones to frame!?!?

Donuts with Daddy
Quinn got to wear his Daddy’s tie to school, and, after I proudly snapped a few pics, they were on their way to celebrate each other.
What a special relationship these two share! I love them so.

31.
I’m 31. It happened on the 11th of this month and it was a fabulous day. It started with lots of birthday wishes and my favorite junky breakfast with yummy coffee. The little boys of the house were already super excited it was my birthday because they got to partake in the early morning sugary goodness!
The day was full of LOTS of special cards from my husband with things that I got to get/do throughout my day. So special…and spoke my perfect love language.
We had lunch at Raising Canes (I seriously think I could drink their sauce) and took a trip to the mall to go to some of my favorite stores. Then, after a relaxing late afternoon at home, we got ready and Mammer and Slickpaw arrived.
Then, after putting Nash nigh-night, our sweet babysitters arrived and my parents, Matt, Quinn and I went to our 8:30 reservation at Texas de Brazil. Dad had always wanted to go…and, since his birthday was only 5 days before, we thought we’d have a dual birthday celebration.
We got back home super late and opened gifts. It was a perfect day. And, I went to bed being extra thankful for people that made it so special for me.
