Nash: Seven Months Old
Nash Baylor Poe,
On February the 6th (Slickpaw’s 61st birthday), you turned 7 months old. And, due to lots of birthday celebrations, sicknesses, snow days, visits from grandparents, planning your brother’s party and more, your letter did not get written. Your Daddy jokes that you’ll forever be heartbroken by this horrible tragedy! … And, even though I know you’ll never care (or possibly ever even know the difference), it bugs me that it didn’t get done. … Oh well…being the easy going second born that I’m SURE you’ll be, I hope you’ll forgive me. …
But, I did take the pictures on time! … Aren’t you cute? … Stay tuned for your 8 month pics…WITH letter!!! (Lord willing!)
I love you more than words in a silly letter could ever describe anyway,
Your Mommy

Today, this beautiful, tiny baby…![]()
…turned this many…
I’ve told him all day that he is not allowed to grow ANY more.
He’s getting too big!!!
But, mercy…I love him to pieces!
We’ve celebrated ALL weekend…and, after I pick up my filthy house and play with thousands of toys with my big four year old, I’ll tell you all about it! ![]()

Living Vicariously
Before I get started…don’t be misled…I L.O.V.E. my boys! BUT…I do love that two of my dear friends are about to have baby GIRLS! I loved helping host little “sprinkles” and I loved shopping for something extra girly and fun for the little prissy pots growing in their tummies!
First up, (at the end of January) it was Jessica and Baby Clara Rose. Don’t you already love her because her name is darling? I do. We had so much fun having a girly lunch at Patrizio’s and celebrating the fact that Jessica is welcoming pink into her house! I can’t wait to love on her VERY soon!

Then, this past weekend, it was all about Jenny and Miss Harper Grace. We had a great time eating and relaxing while getting our toes beautified. And, since Harper will be Jenny’s 3rd girl, she’s an old pro at tea parties and princesses. … But, I know Harper will have her only little spunk and I can’t wait to hold her tiny pink bundle!

Matchy Matchy
I don’t usually match my boys. I like for them to coordinate at times, but the “matchy matchy-ness” isn’t necessarily my style. … But, every now and then, there’s something that I feel they both NEED! And, this shirt that Mammer & Slickpaw got them for Christmas was one of those things! … Our puppy so preciously displayed {with added drool for an accent} was too cute to pass up…FOR BOTH of my boys!

Let the CELEBRATING Begin!!!
My big boy is officially in his birthday month! And, last week at school, the celebrating began! … Since all 12 kiddos in his little class have a birthday in March or the beginning of April, we decided to have a joint celebration.
The theme was FOUR…and flip flops. They had yummy treats, balloons, party hats, games and a flip flop exchange. They were so cute and excited to celebrate each other. At one point Quinn yelled, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERYONE!!!!” Sweet boy. I’m so excited that we have many more 4th birthday celebrations to look forward to in the coming weeks!

{P.S. It was career/spirit day at school…hence the silly costumes and not so fun T’s!}

Out of the {Rainy Day} Box: Color Swatch Match Up
I made this little activity OVER a year ago…and, I don’t think I ever posted it! …
SO, when Quinn re-discovered it, I took a few pics and got excited about sharing it with you!
The best part…this little thing is ALMOST free! Just go to your local hardware store and pick up LOTS of paint cards (TWO OF EACH) and buy clothespins for each color.
Then, cut a piece of each color to glue onto a clothespin.
And, that’s it! Time for fun! …Take the clothespins off (either one card at a time or multiple)…and let your little one match up the colors. Sounds easy? Some of them are kinda tricky! Quinn loved it!…And, Nash thought the clothespins tasted good, too! ha.
