I love weddings.
I want to get married again. {to the same man, of course!}
Being British seems so classy.
Hats are fun. {at my next wedding, I want everyone to wear one, k!?}
HER DRESS!!!! I love everything about it.
I’ve been there….wish I had appreciated it more.
Do you think she practiced that wave in the mirror?
I want a trumpet entrance when I arrive places.
Does she realize how big of a deal she is?
I love that car she rode in…and, HOW CLEAN are those windows?
Coffee out of a fancy tea cup is even better. (this morning was THE morning to try it!)
That John Rutter song that the boys’ choir sang was PERFECT!
I wish they were more giddy during the ceremony!
I liked when the Lord Bishop of London said, “In a sense, every wedding is a royal wedding. Where the bride and groom are king and queen of creation…making a new life together, so that life can flow through them into the future!”
They walk so slow. I love how it allows them to soak it all in!
I wish they were miked.
The British flag is cool.
I think Nash is hypnotized by the British accent.
I might have rewound the kiss a few times.
I wish his Mom could be there.
Quinn is a PRO at being a ring bearer. I think his invite got lost in the mail!
I need a girl.
I love weddings. ![]()
{Reason #243 why I need a girl:
THIS poster might have been my favorite that I found in reference to the wedding! ha.}

Dapper Dude: A Giveaway
Pre-Easter, I searched EVERYWHERE for the perfect tie for Quinn. And, it was IMPOSSIBLE! They were all ugly…or weird…or super expensive…and I was about to give up! …
But, when I got on Etsy and found Dapper Dude, I was SOLD! There were so many darling ones…and I even had a hard time deciding which one Quinn needed! ![]()
And, he was a living doll in his Dapper Dude tie. It made him look like such a stylish little man, and I absolutely loved the colors and the quality.

And, let me tell you my FAVORITE thing about this store. You can send in YOUR OWN TIE, and Dapper Dude will alter it to fit your little dude! (for only $12.00!!!!) How cool is that!?!?!? I can promise you that I’ll be using this service in the future!
Now, if you’re as IN LOVE with these ties as I am, it’s your lucky day! Dapper Dudes is giving away ONE of her ties to one of ThePoeFam’s readers! Just think how cute your little dude will look in this tie or imagine the ooohs and ahhhs as you give a newborn sized one as a baby shower gift!
Here’s how to enter:
(you have FOUR chances!!!!…don’t forget to leave a separate comment for each entry!)
1. Go to Dapper Dude’s Etsy store and tell me which tie you love the most!
2. Tell me who would be the lucky Dapper Dude that would wear your winning tie.
3. Become a fan of ThePoeFam’s blog. (and leave a comment saying you did!)
4. And, for another entry, go and like Two-Five’s new facebook page! (For those of you that don’t know, Two-Five is my hubby’s business! …it has been around since 2008, but lots of changes are underway!!!)
Good luck to ALL of you! I’ll announce a winner sometime on Sunday!!!

Nash’s First Easter
Nash’s first Easter was a precious day. It started with Easter baskets, followed by getting ready for church…and lots of pictures of my handsome boys. Then, after a wonderful service celebrating our risen Savior, we headed to a yummy brick oven pizza lunch…and then for more pictures! We had more fun posing with our family and skipping rocks in the stream. …Thankfully, we thought to bring the eggs to the place where we took pictures. Letting Quinn hunt for eggs under the huge cross was picture perfect. What fun memories…and, we hope to go back to the same spot to hunt eggs year after year.
Now, sit back and enjoy WAY too many pictures (majority taken by Slickpaw) of our Easter Sunday…

Hippity, Hoppity…Easter’s On Its Way…
Leading up to Easter, we always have lots of fun things to keep us busy. And this year was no different.
First of all, the Easter Bunny made lots of visits to our house. We decided that he likes our grass the best…
Then, a few weeks ago, we had our annual Easter playgroup. Quinn, Nash and I brought some fun marshmallow shish-ka-bobs for our friends and eggs to hunt, of course. The boys (and girl) had a wonderful time!!! I love their sweet friendships! ![]()

{Too bad Quinn doesn’t feel relaxed at chapel…ha!}
{silly songs before the party began…} ![]()

{Jesus died for ALL of us!!!}
{the gorgeous flower cross that the kids helped create!…}

And, on Friday before we hit the road to meet our new cousin, we made Resurrection Rolls. Quinn loved seeing that “JESUS IS ALIVE” when we cute open the roll! Such a sweet illustration…literally and figuratively! :)

I love Easter and all of the the sweet things that we get to do to remember what our Savior did for us!
