In & Out at In-N-OUT…FINALLY!!!

I’ve been anxious to try IN-N-OUT Burger since it opened! But, the lines have always prevented me from getting my wish. Until today!!! Today was the day! Q, Nash and I arrived a little after it opened and waited for less than 5 minutes before sitting in our booth.

And, when I sunk my teeth into my first cheeseburger (with special sauce on the side), it TOTALLY lived up to the hype! I loved it! Quinn was so cute watching me (since he’d already been once with Daddy)…and kept asking me, “Do you like it Mommy!? Is it sooo good!?”

I anticipate we’ll be making LOTS more trips to IN-N-OUT in our lifetime…but, I can guess it’ll always run a close second to my beloved Bueno! :)

Any time with these sweet friends always brings laughter, encouragement, refreshment and fun! So thankful for each and every one of them!!!

Wrestlemania.

It happens daily. And, I just smile, laugh…and try to stay out of the way!…

Ok, Disney World Veterans…

As our trip gets closer and closer, I have a few questions for all of your Disney veterans out there…

1. Did you take advantage of the “Photo Pass” options around the park? Are the pictures cute!? We can preorder a cd of all of the pictures for $100! Is it worth it?

2. Did you take advantage of “Rider Swap!?”

3. Do you have any Fast Pass tips?

4. Which “Character Spot” is the least crazy? We’d love minimal wait times! ha.

5. Did any of your kids participate in the Jedi Training Academy?

6. Did any of you participate in “The Pirates League?” Q wants to dress up like a pirate!

7. What about pin trading/vinylmation trading? Worth it? A waste of money? For big kids?

8. Which rides are TOO SCARY for my tender hearted little guy?

9.  Anything else I need to know!?!?

We’re so excited! Disney is ALL I think about!

Hello SUMMER!

We COULD NOT have been happier with Quinn’s first year of pre-school! We loved the curriculum, the teachers, his new friends…and, most importantly, HE LOVED IT! I feel so thankful that his first impression of school was such a positive one and will forever be grateful to his first teachers for making it so special for him. …

But, even though I cherished the one-on-one time with my Chubber Bubs, I was excited to start our summer and have lots more lazy days at home! So, when he was at school for the very last day, I got ready to celebrate! …

I made a “run through” sign for him (a new tradition)……and made the easiest, jello “cake”…decorating it with his legos. I had MORE fun making this fun little treat…



Then, at the end of the day, Nash, Matt and I headed up to school to celebrate a whole school year completed!…


All 12 friends and both teacher were there to celebrate the last day of school…



And, my boy was on a MASSIVE sugar high…having the best time acting like a nut…
The class played outside together before it was time to go home.
It was bittersweet saying goodbye to Miss Kara and Miss Lisa! What sweet and special ladies they were to Q this year…

But, when we got home, it was time to PARTY>>>>>>
He ran through his sign, scootered down his “bubble wrap track” that I made him, played in the pool full of balls (see it in the background), and enjoyed his cake!

Goodbye first year of preschool…HELLO SUMMER! We’re glad you’re here!

 

And, just because I can’t stand it…here are my two loves on the first day of school…8 months ago. How they have changed!!!….

Quinn’s Lunches: LAST ONE!

Before I share Quinn’s last day of school and our “Hello Summer Party,” I thought I’d show you my MOST impressive lunch yet!…Try NOT to be jealous of Q and don’t judge me for ALL of the time and heart I put into making this spectacular lunch…

Isn’t it amazing!? And, sadly, HE LOVED IT! What’s a mom to do!? I even used the lunch bag that they sent home with him to remind us to back a disposable lunch. ha.

Anyway, I did have MORE fun making his lunches this year and look forward to getting to do it all over again next year. Sure, they got less and less creative as the year went on…but, he loved them all the same. Be sure to get an Easy Lunchbox for your little school kiddo for next year…or, better yet, get them now and use them all summer! I couldn’t be happier with this product…

Lately, when the weather is pretty, we’ve taken advantage. It’ll be way too hot way too soon…so, we’ll soak up our outside time while we can! … And, Nash NEVER opposes to being outside!!!…Take a peek into our springtime…

Quinn is starting to get the hang of his MiniKick that his playgroup buddies gave him for his birthday.


Q had more fun helping Mammer pick out and plant flowers while we were in Abilene. Such a proud little gardener…


This little $9 pool was the best money we’ve ever spent. The fun we’ve had in it already is priceless, and I know it’ll get used more and more this summer.

When it’s not too late, we enjoy going to watch Daddy’s soccer games. He sure loves showing off his little guys…and Q loves playing in the bleachers…

During Q’s last week of school, he got to participate in his first Field Day. So fun…He loved having Nash and I there…and Nash LOVED all of the attention…

Q loves Reid’s baby brother, “Jacer!!!”…
